Shetland tweed has ancient origins, dating back several centuries when it was used for the clothing of Scottish fishermen and farmers. Primarily made from Shetland sheep's wool, it is characterised by a rough surface with a "bottonato" effect, achieved by interweaving the threads to create small, button-like bumps. We’ve tailored this waistcoat with classic proportions: its length is ideal for wearing with high-waisted trousers. The five front buttons are made of brown leather, and the four pockets are designed to carry all the essentials for the countryside (pipe, lighter, shotgun cartridges, hallucinogenic mushrooms…).
The lining of this waistcoat features a diamond pattern, inspired by the Scottish argyle. The strap at the centre of the back allows you to adjust the fit depending on the number of courses at lunch.
