Shetland tweed has ancient origins, dating back centuries when it was used for clothing by Scottish fishermen and farmers. Made mainly from Shetland sheep's wool, it features a rough surface with a “buttoned” effect, achieved by interweaving yarns to create small, button-like protuberances.
We decided to cut these pants with the classic proportions of high-waisted pants and two darts. The waistband is 6 centimeters high, with two side straps to adjust the width. The buttons are covered in leather, in keeping with country tradition.
