Riccardo Giro was a famous dramatic actor, best known for the series "The Los Angeles, Beautiful People", which ran for 54 seasons from 1971 to 2020, and Americanized his name to Richard Geer. Married with 4 beautiful children, he had nevertheless struck up a close friendship with his yacht's skipper, the jealous and paranoid South American Paulito Palmas... For years, Geer had been promising and lying to his skipper that he would leave his wife forever and set off on a huge voyage around the world. They were both found dead on the actor's yacht, poisoned by cyanide from a jug of Blue Lagoon. Inspector Magnus concluded that it was food poisoning, damn oysters...
