The trench coat originated in 19th-century military coats. Designed for British officers during the First World War, it was quickly adopted into civilian wardrobes thanks to its long cut, belt and functional details such as epaulettes and a storm flap. Its iconic image was reinforced by cinema, notably in Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart, The Third Man with Orson Welles and Blade Runner, where it embodies both elegance and mystery.

Our trench coat design is inspired by the original cut: loose-fitting to cover all types of suits, calf-length to protect trousers from heavy rain, double-breasted to better withstand gusts of wind, and finally, with a wide collar to protect the neck while adding a touch of drama to our everyday lives.
