Origin of the fabric and pattern
This jacket is made from 450g combed wool flannel, a dense and durable winter fabric that combines warmth with a sharp drape. The colour, a deep grey called ‘Wall Street Smog’, evokes the urban and industrial atmosphere of the great American metropolis.
Inspiration for the silhouette
The line is inspired by the English businessmen of the 1940s, whose suits commanded respect and authority, combined with the image of American businessmen on Wall Street who shaped the international aesthetic of the post-war period.
